If you are someone who, whenever the holiday season rolls around (no matter if you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, another holiday, or no holiday at all), loves to help give back to your community and people who need your help and people you love, then, first of all, props to you.
It is always nice to see people who become overcome with feelings of generosity around the holiday season because the world needs more of that. Especially now more than ever!
However, there are some people who feel these intense sentiments of generosity and hopefulness and they know exactly where to channel that energy. On the other hand, there are some people who do not necessarily know where to put their generosity.
Fortunately, that is where this article should come in handy. There are so many local charities that you can donate to during the holidays or during any time of year.
For example, if you live in the northeast, Capital Roots and No More Kids with Cancer are great organizations to which to donate. The area of the southeast has charitable organizations like ChopArt and the Me Fine Foundation.
No matter where you are located in the United States, there are going to be local organizations with which you can be generous. You just have to find them.
